(a) whether Oil Public Sector Undertakings together will invest more than 2.7 lakh crore on
various developmental activities during the Eleventh Plan period;
(b) if so, the details thereof, PSU-wise; and
(c) the details of the focus areas proposed for such investments by each oil PSU?

(a) to (c): The approved outlay for all Oil PSUs during the XI Five Year Plan period (2007-2012)is Rs. 229071.59 crore. With this proposed investment, the Oil PSUs would undertake all activitiesin the oil and gas sector, such as, Exploration and Production;Refining and Marketing;Petrochemicals and Engineering.
