(a) to (c) BharatNet project is implemented in a phased manner to provide broadband connectivity to all Gram Panchayats (2.6 lakh approx.) in the country. As on 01.11.2021, a total number of 1,66,088 Gram Panchayats (GPs) are made Service Ready. The scope of BharatNet on 30.06.2021 was extended up to all inhabited villages beyond GPs in the country. The target date for completion of the project is August, 2023.
As on 30.09.2021, the State/UT-wise details of allocation / disbursement of funds (including Haryana) under BharatNet Project are given in Annexure-I.
