(a) whether the Government is planning to start ship transport between Tuticorin Port and Kollam Port;

(c) whether a cargo ship service has been recently started between Tuticorin Port to Dubai port;

(e) the income expected to be generated through this cargo service?

(c)to(e):Two private Indian flag vessels have been deployed on this circuit. The income generated by V.O. Chidambaram Port Trust through this service in the form of vessel related charges will be to the tune of about Rs.8.5 lakhs per call and income from cargo will be about Rs.6.5 lakhs per call.
