(a)Yes Madam.
(b) The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation (MDW&S) has released funds to the tune of Rs. 221.30 Crore in three instalments to 10 States including Andhra Pradesh for installation of Solar Energy based Dual Pump in remote areas of the States where electricity is unavailable or supply is irregular. The scheme has been funded with the assistance of National Clean Energy Fund (NCEF). Around 11,000 rural habitations in these States are expected to be covered under this scheme. State-wise targets are at Annexure-I. State Government of Andhra Pradesh has been given a target of 219 habitations for which an amount of Rs. 443.34 Lakhs has been released to State of Andhra Pradesh in three instalments during the financial year 2012-2013 to 2014-2015. Besides, Ministry has also initiated a scheme across the rural areas of the country for installation of more 20,000 such pumps with the collaboration of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for which funds are to be used from NRDWP-Sustainability component. The details of the targets allocated to all States under this Scheme are at Annexure-II.
(c) No Madam. As reported by State of Andhra Pradesh, 61 habitations were covered in 1st phase and 851 habitations are in progress in 2nd phase. Details are at Annexure-III.
(d) As reported by various States on the online Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) of the Ministry, 5447 habitations have been covered under scheme funded by NCEF, whereas under scheme funded jointly by this Ministry and MNRE, a total of 19 habitations have been covered as on 15.12.2015.
