(a) whether the people of the Gurjar caste in Rajasthan have been agaitating for the
last two years with their demand for inclusion of the said caste in the list of
scheduled tribes;
(b) whether the Union Government had asked the State Government to submit the
report relating to inclusion of Gurjars in the Scheduled Tribe list but the same has
not yet been submitted by the Rajasthan Government;
(c) whether a recent survey shows that the per cent of education among Gurjars is
below 0.4;
(d) whether the Government propose to include Gurjar caste in the list of Scheduled
Tribes; and
(e) if not, the reasons therefor?
