(a) No, Madam. Although, this Ministry is implementing a scheme namely, ‘Strengthening of Public Transport System’ to improve public transport system. The scheme helps in containing rising number of private vehicles with improvement in public transport facilities.
(b) Doesn’t arise in view of above.
(c) The scheme provides for financial assistance to States for strengthening of public transport system in the country. The assistance to States is for introduction of information technology solutions in public transport system.
