(a) the details of the number of goods rakes being provided to the
Hubli Railway Division, S.W.R. Zone for transportation of Manganese
Ore from Bellary to Vasco;
(b) whether the number of rakes being provided are enough to meet the
demand and carry the required quantity of Manganese Ore;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor;
(d) if so, the action taken to meet the demand for additional rakes;
(e) whether it has come to the notice of the Government that this
shortage of rakes has not only led to shortfall in the revenues but also to corruption in
the Railways; and
(f) if so, the action taken by the Government thereon?
