(a) the number of management studies for improving the
efficiency in the Government Departments had been completed by
the Department of Administrative Reforms during 1998-1999 and
1999-2000;
(b) the number of stuidies that have been commissioned during
2000-2001; and
(c) the number of such studies which are likely to be
completed by March 31, 2001?

(a): The number of management studies completed by the
Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances during
1998-1999 and 1999-2000 is four and one respectively
(b)&(c):The number of management studies which were commissioned
during 2000-2001 is five. Out of these five, three have been
completed and reports submitted. Out of the remaining two, one
is likely to be completed by the end of the current financial
year and the other in the next three-four months.
