Question : INTENSIVE DAIRY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME



(a) whether the Union Government has received any proposal from the State Government of Chhattisgarh under the Intensive Dairy Development Programme; and

(b) if so, the details thereof along with the present status of the proposal?

(a) & (b) Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries has approved a dairy development project under the scheme Intensive Dairy Development Programme (IDDP) in Chhattisgarh during 2011-12 covering districts namely Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Mahasamund and Dhamtari with an outlay of Rs.1031.61 lakh. A supplementary project proposal of the above project was received, which has been approved by the Department during 2012-13, at a cost of Rs.168.00 lakh for additional project activities for these districts.
