(a) the details of the programmes, schemes and projects being run to provide integrated education across the country and particularly in rural areas including Rajasthan;
(b) the details of total budgetary allocation for the expansion of basic infrastructure of education in rural areas in 2020-2021 through Smart Board, Online Education App and improvement in quality of teachers in rural schools?

(a) and (b) : The Department has launched the Samagra Shiksha - an Integrated Scheme for School Education by subsuming the erstwhile Centrally Sponsored Schemes of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education (TE) from 2018-19. It is an overarching programme for the school education sector extending from pre-school to class XII and aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education at all levels of school education. It envisages the ‘school’ as a continuum from pre-school, primary, upper primary, secondary to senior secondary levels.
The major interventions under the scheme are: (i) Universal Access including Infrastructure Development and Retention; (ii) Gender and Equity; (iii) Inclusive Education; (iv) Quality; (v) Financial support for Teacher Salary; (vi) Digital initiatives; (vii) Entitlements under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009 including uniforms, textbooks etc.;(viii) Pre-school Education; (ix) Vocational Education; (x) Sports and Physical Education; (xi) Strengthening of Teacher Education and Training; and (xii) Monitoring of the scheme.
The Ministry of Education has approved an amount of Rs. 174.06 Crore for smart classrooms/ digital boards, Rs. 667.61 Crore for Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Rs. 26.09 Crore for DIKSHA and Rs. 267.91 Crore for the training of teachers in online mode for all States and UTs including Rajasthan during the Financial Year 2020-21 under Samagra Shiksha.
