Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has any proposal to introduce Naturopathy studies as a specific discipline at college level in AYUSH colleges;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the details of professional Naturopathy courses approved by the Government in AYUSH institutions, State/ UT-wise including Uttar Pradesh?

(a) to (c): There is no such proposal to introduce Naturopathy studies as a specific discipline at college level in AYUSH colleges, as Naturopathy as a system of medicine is being taught separately through different course of study.
(d) There is no Central regulatory body to recognize/ approve professional Naturopathy courses under the Ministry. However, UGC has approved BNYS course of 5 ½ years duration.
