(a) the details of the estimated quantum of the production and requirement of iron ore in the country during the next three years;
(b) the quantum of iron ore exported and the foreign exchange earned therefrom during each of the last three years and the current year, country-wise;
(c) whether the Government proposes to ban the export of iron ore with a view to meeting the existing demand and the future requirements in the country; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) The quantum of the production and requirement of iron ore in the country during the next three years is not estimated. However, domestic production and existing stock of iron ore is sufficient to meet the requirement of domestic steel sector in the next few years.
(b) The details of iron ore exported and foreign exchange earned therefrom during the last three years is annexed.
(c) There is no such proposal at present.
(d) Does not arise.
