(b) if so, whether the Government is considering to extend the period of Amarnath Yatra considering the number of devotees visiting the shrine;

(d): Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) makes arrangements and provides requisite facilities for the Yatra every year.
In addition, the steps taken by the Government in consultation with the Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, State Government and officers of the security forces to improve the facilities for smooth conduct of the Yatra, 2015, inter alia, include deployment of Army, Central Para Military Forces and State Police for safety and security to the pilgrims; installation of 7 V-SAT Satellite Transmission Towers of 2 MBPS capacity; provision of 17 mobile towers for better telecom connectivity; arrangement of 18 DG Sets and laying of Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) upto Domel etc.
