Answer given by the minister

THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE ( SMT. PANABAKA LAKSHMI)

(a) to (c): Some of the State Governments have provided reservations for in-service doctors for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses in the State. However, it has come to notice that all the seats reserved for in-service doctors are not fully filled as some of these doctors are not able to secure the minimum qualifying marks as per the directions of the Hon`ble Supreme Court which stipulates that admission of candidates including in-service doctors to Postgraduate courses are to be made through a common entrance test only and all the candidates including in-service doctors, are required to obtain the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed in the regulations of the Medical Council of India.
