(a) & (b): Yes, Sir. There are total of 9 coal mines
in the country excluding Meghalaya State, where coal is
being extracted by private sector companies. 7 of these
mines are in the State of Jharkhand and one each in
Chhattisgarh and West Bengal.
(c) & (d): The annual Production from and coal
