Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF RAILWAYS, COMMUNICATIONS AND
ELECTRONICS & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

(SHRI ASHWINI VAISHNAW)
(a) to (e): There is a request from local populace for construction of Railway underpass at Heros Nagar. The site has been examined and

it is observed that there is no level crossing (LC) at Heros Nagar near Vallikunnu Railway station. RUB at this location is also technically not feasible due to less bank height and waterlogging issues. However, Road Over Bridge (ROB) at this location can be considered on deposit terms provided State Government agrees and proposed to bear 100% cost of construction and maintenance subject to its feasibility. No proposal in this regard has been received from State Government.
