(a) whether the Government has taken initiative for promoting vehicles using clean fuels, if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the Government has issued any norms in this regard, if so, the details thereof;
(c) the time by which the vehicles manufacturers are expected to manufacture such vehicles; and
(d) the steps taken/being taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) to (d) Mass emission standards for flex-fuel ethanol (E85) and ethanol (ED95) vehicles have been notified vide notification No. GSR 412(E) dated 19.05.2015 and Mass Emission Standards for Bharat Stage IV shall come into force all over the country in respect of four wheeled vehicles manufactured on or after the 1st April, 2017.
