Question : PRODUCTION OF ADDITIONAL UREA

(a) the number of fertilizer producing units, which have produced additional urea under the Additional Urea Production Policy during each of the last three years and the current year;

(b) whether the additional urea produced under the said policy was exported also; during the said period;

(c) if so, the details thereof; and

(d) the details of revenue earned by the Government therefrom during the said period year-wise ?

(a) The number of fertilizer producing units which produced additional urea during the last three year are at Annexe.

(b) No Madam.

(c) Does not arise.

(d) Since additional production of urea is not exported, no revenue was generated by the Government therefrom.
