(a) whether the work of converting two-lane NH-76 into four-lane under East-West Corridor of National Highways Authority of India is slow;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor and the present status of progress, till date; and
(c) the details of land acquisition, invitation of tenders and placing work-orders for construction of by-passes, bridges/culverts etc. in Kota, Bundi and Baran districts alongwith the details of expenditure likely to be incurred thereon?

(a) to (c) Total length of NH-76 under East – West Corridor (excluding the common portion of Udiapur – Chittorgarh with Golden Quadrilateral) is 525 km, which is being converted from two lane to four lane. The land for the above stretch on NH-76 has been acquired. The details and present status including that of construction of bypasses, bridges/culverts, etc. in Kota, Bundi and Baran Districts as well as likely expenditure thereto for the contracts on NH–76 are given at Annexure – I.
