(a) the date on which approval was given for construction of Terminal at Raigarh Railway Station under Bilaspur Railway Division and for laying of new rail line from Bishrampur to Ambikapur ; and
(b) the allocations made therefor during 1999-2000 and 2000-01 along with progress made in regard to the above projects ?

(a) Approval for construction of Raigarh Terminal under
Bilaspur Division was given in 1998-99.
A new Railway line from Bishrampur to Ambikapur was
included in 1997-98(Supplementary Budget). Approval of
Planning Commission was received in August, 1998.
(b) Allocations made for construction of Raigarh Terminal
during 1999-2000 and 2000-01 were Rs. 87.89 Lakhs and Rs.
40.00 Lakhs respectively. Land acquisition for the project is
being processed.
Allocations made for construction of Bishrampur-Ambikapur
new line during 1999-2000 and 2000-01 were Rs. 5.3 Crores
and Rs. 5 Crores respectively. Physical possession of
full private land has been obtained in December 1999.
Tenders for earth work, bridges and buildings are being
processed.
