(a) whether targets of irrigation capacity generation in various States have been fixed under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana;
(b) if so, the details of the targets fixed and the time limit fixed for achieving these targets in each State of the country; and
(c) the amount required in each State for achieving this target and the amount likely to be provided by the Union Government to each State?

(a) to (c): A target of creating irrigation potential of 2.5 Million hectare (Mha) during the period 2015-16 to 2019-20 has been set under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) with a provision of Rs.50,000 crore Central share. The scheme envisages decentralized State level planning, allowing the states to draw up their irrigation development plans and set their own target prioritizing the immediate requirements, based on available resources.
