(b) the details of the works done by the said organisations to promote Hindi

(a) & (b) List of 242 Voluntary Organizations that were given grant by Kendriya
Hindi Nideshalaya during last three years along with the amount of the grant
sanctioned/released, year-wise is available on the website of Central Hindi
Directorate. The Voluntary Organizations utilize the grants for conducting various
activities such as Seminars, Workshops, Hindi Classes, Shivirs, Hindi Competitions,
Hindi Day celebration, setting up of Libraries, Reading Rooms, Publication of Hindi
Periodicals, Journals, Magazines, Organizing Hindi Typing and Stenography
Classes, Organizing Lectures of Hindi Scholars, Hindi Elocution contests, Hindi
Drama, Essay competition etc. Organization-wise details of their activities are not
maintained centrally.
