The financial assistance sought includes assistance towards agriculture input subsidy, supply of drinking water and fodder. The Government of India has constituted an Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT), which visited the State during 04-07 December, 2018, for assessment of the drought condition and requirement of financial assistance. As per existing procedure, the report/recommendations of IMCT are placed before the Sub-Committee of National Executive Committee (SC-NEC). Thereafter, the recommendations of the SC-NEC are considered by the High Level Committee (HLC), chaired by Home Minister, for approval.
