Question : Relaxation in Plinth Area in Government Quarters

(a) Whether the Government is aware of the fact that it was requested through previous Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and several other people/bodies for giving relaxation in Plinth Area for the demand of additional room keeping in view the need of many big families living in Government colonies including Aram Bagh Government Quarters;

(b) if so, the details thereof, colony-wise particularly in Aram Bagh area; and

(c) the manner in which the Government is likely to fulfil this request through the concerned planning and mapping department?

(a) to (c) Providing of additional room in Government quarters at Aram Bagh has not been found feasible. At present there is no proposal to relax extant Plinth Area Norms.
