Question : SATH Programme

(a) whether the Government has launched SATH(Sustainable Action for Transforming Human Capital) with the State Governments for furthering the agenda of cooperative federalism;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether these plans have provisions to identify and build three future role model States for health system and if so, the details thereof;

(d) whether this will help in designing a robust roadmap, develop a programme for governance structure, establish monitoring and tracking mechanisms and provide support to the State institutions to achieve the end objectives; and

(e) if so, details thereof?

(a): Yes, Madam.

(b) to (e): The programme has been designed to provide support to three States for (i) identifying key issues in health systems of each of the States (ii) suggest way forward based on learnings from best practices, (iii) implementing the steps on the ground, and (iv) enhance capabilities to monitor and sustain them over time.
