(a) whether a report on the coal industry has been prepared by Ernst and Young(E&Y) to tide
over shortage of coal as reported in ‘the Hindu’dated 6 September,2008;
(b) if so,the details thereof outlining the major issue highlighted therein;and
(c) the steps taken or proposed to be taken by the Government this regard?
