(a) whether the Government has lodged its protest with Pakistan in view of the
incidents of infiltration by the terrorists under the cover of heavy firing by Pakistani
army from across the border;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the steps taken by the Government to prevent such incidents of infiltration of
terrorists in connivance of Pakistan Army?

(a) & (b) The matter of cross border infiltration and ceasefire violations has been taken
up strongly with the Government of Pakistan including at the highest levels. The Government of
Pakistan has been urged to implement its commitments that it would not allow its territory or
territory under its control to be used for terrorism against India in any manner.
(c) Government are committed to taking all necessary steps to safeguard the security of
its citizens and territory.
