Question : Allocation of Funds to Chhattisgarh

(a) The funds allocated/released by the Union Government to Chhattisgarh to make drinking water available during the last two years;
(b) Whether Chhattisgarh has provided any information/progress report to the Union Government regarding works launched by the State to make drinking water available;
(c) If so, the details thereof; and
(d) The relevant rules to send a progress report to the Union Government by the State Government of Chhattisgarh regarding drinking water supply?

(a) to (d) The year-wise allocation of Central fund under Jal Jeevan Mission to Chhattisgarh to make provision of potable tap water supply to rural households, schools, anganwadi centres, ashramshalas, etc. in the last two years and current year is as under:

Further, this ministry regularly reviews the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission with States/ UTs including Chhattisgarh.
