(a) whether the Supreme Court recently directed the government
to provide cheap and free foodgrains to the poor section of the
society;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the said direaive is beyond the Supreme Court
jurisdiction;
(d) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto; and
(e) the steps taken by the Government in this regard?
