(a)whether the Pak-based multi-party alliance of several Kashmiri outfits has threatened to intensify its activities against security forces in Jammu and Kashmir under its new strategy;
(b)if so, the details thereof;
(c)whether the Government have lodged any protest with the Pak Government in this regard; and
(d)if so, the reaction of the Pak Government thereto?

(a)-(d) The leaders of several Pakistan based terrorist groups, encouraged and sponsored by Pakistan`s intelligence agencies, have been continuously calling upon their cadres to step-up terrorist violence in Jammu & Kashmir and other parts of India.
Government have conveyed to Pakistan on numerous occasions that its sponsorship of cross border terrorism in India contravenes its obligations and commitments under the Simla Agreement and the Lahore Declaration which are the cornerstones of our bilateral relations. Pakistan has persisted with its state sponsorship of terrorism against India.
