(a) whether some British Police Officers visited India recently;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether they wanted to know the Indian Government`s legal stand in case any of the persons released by Indian Government in connection with IC 814 Plane Hijack is arrested by British Government and extradited to India; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & b) Two British Officers, from the Metropolitan Police Service of the New Scotland Yard, visited India from 4-11 July 2000. They held discussions with the concerned Indian officials from the Central Bureau of Investigation and Delhi Police.
(c) & (d) Yes, Sir. Various matters, including the legal aspects of events related to the hijacking of flight IC 814, were discussed with the visiting UK officials.
