(a) whether the Government has formulated any scheme for the modernization of New Delhi Railway Station with private participation;
(b) is so, the details thereof;
(c) whether there is any proposal to start such scheme for the other important stations of the country; and
(d) is so, the details thereof?

(a)& (b): Yes, Sir, Railways have planned to develop New Delhi into world class station
through proposed Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), as announced in Railway
budget 2005-06.
(c) & (d): Yes, Sir. Railways have planned to develop important railway stations in
Metro cities into world class stations through the proposed Rail Land Development Authority, as announced in Railway Budget 2005-06.
