MINISTER OF TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI P.R. KYNDIAH)
(a) The details of organizations along with their projects funded by the Ministry in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the last three years are given in the statement at Annexure. These projects are funded under the Scheme of Grants-in-aid to voluntary organizations working for the welfare of Scheduled Tribes. The Ministry has not released any grant so far during the current financial year, as the recommendations from the State Government for the current financial year have not yet been received.
(b) The Ministry releases funds to NGOs on receipt of utilization certificates of the grants released earlier, annual inspection report of Deputy Commissioner and the recommendations of the multidisciplinary State Committee, through the respective State Government.
