(a) whether the Government is aware of fraudulent accounting entries detected by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in the accounts of National Stock Exchange (NSE) during the last financial year;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the action taken thereon; and
(c) the other steps being taken to curb such practices in the future?

(a): Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has informed that the annual accounts of National Stock Exchange (NSE) for the last financial year i.e. 2014-15 are yet to be approved by its Board and submitted to SEBI.
(b) and (c): Does not arise in view of reply to (a) above.
