Question : De-Radicalisation Camps

(a) whether Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) has recently given statement and DGP, J&K has also supported the existence of de-radicalisation camps in the country especially in Jammu and Kashmir;

(b) if so, the details thereof along with the reasons therefor;

(c) the number of such camps in the country and the number of persons in the said camps;

(d) the number of persons in such camps de-radicalised so far;

(e) whether the Government has taken a step further in harassment of youth in the country especially in J&K through these camps; and

(f) if so, the response of the Government thereto?

(a) There is no report of existence of any de-radicalisation camps in the country especially in the Jammu and Kashmir.

(b) to (f) In view of (a) above, the question does not arise.
