(a) whether the Government has any estimate of investment needed for Urban infrastructure in
the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) if not, whether the Government proposes to set up any committee to estimate the investment
needed for Urban infrastructure in the country; and
(d) if so, by when?

(a)&(b): Yes, Sir. Estimated fund required in respect of urban water supply, sewerage and
sanitation, drainage, solid waste management and urban mobility needs for 11th Five Year
Plan period is as under:-
Requirement of funds Rupees in crore Urban mobility 1,32,590 Urban water supply, sewerage 1,29,237 and sewage treatment, drainage, Solid Waste Management including MIS, R & D and training etc.
