THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY ( SHRI E.V.K.S. ELANGOVAN)
(a) & (b) Indian imports into the USA have not been subjected to increased import duty. However, trade measures like antidumping duties have been contemplated/imposed by the USA from time to time for the imports of specific products from certain countries, including India, which have affected our exports of products such as shrimps etc.
(c) Government constantly monitors such trade measures, which are taken up at the appropriate forum.
