(a) whether the Government of Karnataka has submitted an Action Plan proposal for financial assistance under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National Project on Rinderpest Eradication (NPRE);
(b) if so , the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which the proposal is likely to be finalized and the finds released under the scheme?

(a) to (c): Yes Madam. Government of Karnataka submitted an Action Plan for central
assistance under National Project on Rinderpest Eradication (NPRE) in June 2010. In response,
an amount of Rs. 15.00 lakh has been released to the State as first installment in June 2010.
In addition, an amount of Rs. 0.55 lakh released for the purpose in 2009-10 has also been
revalidated for utilization in the current financial year. Further funds will be released on
utilization of funds already released and revalidated.
