(a) whether the Government has received request/representations for providing Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) facility to the employees of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the reaction of the Government thereto?

(c ) The matter has been taken up with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for concurrence of the proposal of extension of CGHS facility to the absorbed employees of MTNL who are in receipt of pro-rata pension from the Central Civil Estimates.
