(a) whether the Government has proposed to accord due priority to State-run companies for mineral concessions;
(b) if so, whether his Ministry is strongly in favour of reserving mineral bearing areas only for the Central Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs);
(c) if so, the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereto;and
(d) the steps taken by the Government to reserve mines for the Central PSUs under the Government dispensation route for major minerals like iron ore, manganese ore and chrome ore as is being done in the case of coal?
