Question : REDUCTION OF CHARGES OF CELLULAR MOBILE PHONE

(a) whether it is a fact that the charges for the Mobile Phones operated by the BSNL are higher than the Mobile Phone changes of the Private Cellular Operators ;

(b) if so, whether the Government propose to reduce the Mobile Phone Charges of BSNL to facilitate the BSNL Cellular subscribers;

(c) if so, the details thereof; and

(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) No, Sir. One overall basis BSNL charges are comparable to the mobile phone charges of the private cellular operators.
