MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT & POVERTY ALLEVIATION ( SHRI BANDARU DATTATREYA )

(a): Yes, Sir.

(b)&(c): Board of Directors of Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) has approved release of Rs.24.99 crore to three agencies in relaxation of HUDCO norms applicable for agencies where defaults in respect of loans covered by Government guarantee are in excess of the stipulated limit. However, loan release in respect of Kerala State Housing Board (KSHB) could not be made as it requires approval of National Housing Bank (NHB) for relaxation in prudential norms for exposure to a single borrower.
