(a) whether the Government has decided to further extend the tenure of the high-level committee set up to inquire into the fire incident on Sabarmati Express at Godhra station;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and
(c) the expenditure incurred so far on the said Committee?

(a) The tenure of the High Level Committee set up to inquire into the incident of Fire on Sabarmati Express at Godhra station is upto 04-06-2005. No proposal is under consideration at present to further extend the tenure of the said Committee.
