(a) whether the Government has any proposal to set up Health and Wellness clubs in all the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools across the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof and features thereof;
(c) the time by which the above Clubs are likely to be set up; and
(d) whether the Government proposes to include fitness test for admission of students in the proposed New Education Policy and if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (c): Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued instruction in May, 2006 to its affiliated schools for setting up of Health and Wellness clubs with organization of health walks, health fairs and immunization programme, rendering services in an area affected by disaster or calamity, setting up of health help line within the school, teaching of Yoga and meditation, inculcation of healthy and positive ways of living and awareness programme on World No Tobacco Day , World AIDS Day.
(d) : Currently, there is no such proposal under consideration.
