Question : Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana

(a) the details of the funds allocated and released to the States under Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana (MKSP) along with its utilization reported by the States during each of the last three years and the current year, State/UT-wise and year-wise;

(b) whether the Government has achieved the targets set under the scheme; and

(c) if so, the details thereof, State/UTwise?

(a) : Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana (MKSP) which is a sub component of National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), is a demand based program. After the project approval, funds are released in three installments in the ratio of 25:50:25. 1st installment of 25% of Central share is released after the approval. The 2nd and 3rd installments of central share are released after utilization of 60% and 80% of available funds and achievement of corresponding physical targets by the Project Implementing Agency. The Statewise and yearwise details of fund allocated/releases based on the demand/utilization during last three years and current year is given in the Annexure.

(b) & (c): The impact assessment study is possible after completion/conclusion of projects sanctioned in the initial phase under MKSP.
