(a): The list of operational airports having scheduled flight operations in the country is enclosed at Annexure -A.
(b) & (c): Government of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation has granted ''in principle'' approval for setting up of Greenfield airports across the country namely Mopa in Goa, Navi Mumbai and Sindhudurg in Maharashtra, Bijapur, Hassan and Shimoga in Karnataka, Datia (Gwalior) in Madhya Pradesh, Kushinagar and Noida in Uttar Pradesh, Dholera and Hirasar in Gujarat, Karaikal in Puducherry, Dagadarthi, Bhogapuram and Oravakal (Kurnool) in Andhra Pradesh and Hollongi, Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh. The timeline for construction of airports depends upon various factors such as land acquisition, mandatory clearances, removal of the physical obstructions, financial closure etc. by the respective developers. Airport-wise details of the progress made in the Greenfield airport projects are at Annexure-B.;

Further, for the revival of unserved and underserved airport schemes, Rs.4500 crore has been allocated by the CCEA under RCS-UDAN Scheme. In addition, State Governments also provide necessary concessions to the operators for operationalizing the airports/airstrips. So far, a total of 281 routes have commenced operationalizing 26 unserved airports, connecting 19 underserved airports and 5 heliports across the country under three-phases of RCS-UDAN.
