(a)&(b): In order to ensure uninterrupted and timely supply of all types of yarn
at reasonable prices to handloom weavers, 273 new yarn depots have been established
throughout the country during 2006-07. This is in addition to 110 depots already functioning.
(c): There are 70 yarn depots in the State of Andhra Pradesh. State-wise list
of the yarn depots in the country is enclosed as Annexure.
