(a) whether Geological Survey of India has requested the Government to relax restrictions in regard to maintenance of flying altitudes to facilitate carrying out multi-sensor airborne surveys; and
(b) if so, the reaction of the Government in this regard?

(a) and (b): Requests from Geological Survey of India for relaxation of the minimum altitude for flying are being received in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation from time to time. Such requests are approved based on the merits of the respective cases.
