(a) whether the Government have started any project under National Reconstruction Corps Scheme in some districts of the country:
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the new scheme is likely to be extended to other districts; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b) : Yes, Sir. Government have finalized the following 7 Schemes in the implementation of which volunteers under the NRC Scheme will be involved in 80 districts of the country during the current financial year.
(i) Swarnjayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojana
(ii) National Anti-Malaria Programme
(iii) Swarnjayanti Shahri Rojgar Yojana
(iv) Integrated Watershed Development Programme
(v) Renewable Energy System
(vi) Social Forestry
(vii) Literacy
