Question : Rail Projects

(a) the details of under construction/ pending Rail Overbridges (ROBs)/Rail Underbridges (RUBs) as well as unmanned/ manned level crossings in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh;

(b) whether the said rail projects are going on in a time bound manner and if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether cost escalation is taking place due to delay in the implementation of the said projects and if so, the details thereof;

(d) whether the Government proposes to take steps for early completion of the said sanctioned and under construction projects in Maharajganj, UP; and

(e) if so, the time by which these projects are likely to be completed?

(a): There is no under construction/ pending Road over Bridges (ROBs), unmanned/ manned Level Crossings (LCs) in Maharajganj District, Uttar Pradesh. There are 21 under construction/ pending Road under Bridges (RUBs), details of which are appended.

(b): Yes, Sir.

(c): No, Sir. There is no cost escalation in the said Rail projects.

(d) & (e): Construction of 2 RUBs has been completed. Remaining 19 RUBs have been targeted for completion by March 2021.
